1937

Founded as a flour mill

John Mitrzyk starts Standish Milling with 12 employees, distributing flour and twine.

Standish Milling Co. delivery truck lettered for Robin Hood Flour, feed, grain, salt and twine
Soon after

Became a feed mill

Shifts to manufacturing and distributing bird seed and livestock feed.

Retail store opens

Direct-to-consumer begins with dog food and poultry products on a few shelves.

Rebuilt after a fire

Fire takes the original mill — and that same day we reopen at our current home.
